( my origin story )

From a young age, I developed a keen interest in computers (as well as the games that came with them) and drawing.

In secondary school, I spent more time studying the Computer Studies book than any other prescribed reading, which naturally led to me excelling in the subject.

I enjoyed interacting with computers, but over time I felt there was more I could explore; I wanted to understand exactly how softwares were made.

So, when I was introduced to a programming language called C# in my first year of university at the National College of Information and Technology, I grew passionate about it and used it to make various applications, including simple calculators and two different computing projects.

From then on, I also discovered Adobe Photoshop and have since learnt how to use other tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Xd, Adobe After Effects, Protopie, and Figma.

My desire to be a UI/UX designer was sparked in my final year of college through a module called Human-Computer Interaction, which made me realize I was enthusiastic about developing products with good features but I still had to grow in the craft. I had to hone my skills to create products that were more appealing, usable, and interactive.

I later discovered that poorly designed products and the neglected needs of various users were a problem in my country. A problem I wanted to help solve.

Armed with my programming, Human-Computer Interaction and graphic design expertise, and the desire to run my own company, right after graduating from college, I started my freelancing business at age 21.

I set out with the goal to help developers and businesses create products with beautiful, easy-to-use, and engaging interfaces.

For the past five years, I have worked on different projects for entities including Telekom Networks Malawi (TNM), Centenary Bank Malawi, Malawi Telecommunications Limited (MTL), Doorbell Services, Soli Deo Technologies, and Antioch Baptist Church.

Operating from my home office, I have delivered results for clients based in Malawi and other African countries. I love to design websites, web applications, and mobile apps.
